I’m Ryan. I designed an open-source, 3D printable eye-rinsing device for rapid deployment in hazardous environments and areas of conflict, a stop-gap tool to provide immediate relief and help someone reach proper medical care fast. To keep the design free and accessible, I’m pursuing patent protection so it can stay open source. Support funds a professional prior art search, a one-year preliminary filing, and the lab equipment and safety trials needed to validate the device and reduce risk.
